Dr Alejandro de la Torre-Luque is an associate professor from the Complutense University of Madrid
(Department of Legal Medicine, Psychiatry and Pathology), Spain.
Dr. Alejandro de la Torre-Luque is the principal investigator (PI) of the Psychiatric Epidemiology and Mental
Health (EPISAM) research team from the same university (https://www.ucm.es/grupos/grupo/980). He is also
involved as an associate researcher of the Mood Disorder Research Team from the Centre in Biomedical
Research in Mental Health (CIBERSAM ISCIII) (https://www.cibersam.es/grupos/grupo-de-
investigacion?id=14260). Moreover, Dr De la Torre-Luque is the coordinator of the Spanish National Suicide Prevention Platform
(https://plataformanacionalsuicidio.es/). Dr de la Torre-Luque is involved in several international initiatives of epidemiological and clinical research, such as the Global Burden of Disease (GBD), the Cross-Cultural Consortium on Irritability (C3I) and the SURVIVE consortium on suicide reattempt research.
His strong and refined interdisciplinary background makes him a researcher with great potential to actively
contribute to the advancement of Psychiatric Epidemiology, Neuroscience, and Psychology. More than 100

disciplines such as Psychiatric Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Mental Health Sciences. Suicide prevention is a
