Peter Gutierrez is LivingWorks Executive Vice President, Innovation. Among his responsibilities are directing internal and external research and evaluation work and maintaining a robust network of external research partners with whom LivingWorks collaborates on advancing the science of suicide prevention. He also holds an appointment as a professor in the department of psychology at Florida State University, is a Fellow of the International Academy of Suicide Research, and an associate editor of the journal Suicide and Life-Threatening Behavior. He has presented his research at national and international conferences on a wide range of suicide prevention topics ranging from assessment to intervention in over 100 papers and 70 posters.
