Vladimir Carli, MD, PhD, is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the National Centre for Suicide Research and Prevention of Mental Ill-Health (NASP) at Karolinska Institutet (Stockholm, Sweden). VC is Director of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Research, Training and Methods Development in Suicide Prevention, chair of Section of Suicidology of the World Psychiatric Association (WPA) and board member/treasurer of the International Academy of Suicide Research (IASR).
